Online Therapy USER Pages
Online Therapy USER does not provide an emergency or crisis response service.
If you are feeling suicidal or in a crisis please seek help immediately:
- Call the emergency services on 911 (Ambulance/Police/Fire Service).
- Or, present at your local hospital emergency department
Please note that, for your own safety, if you tell us that you intend to commit suicide we have an obligation to inform the Police.
It is important that you get the support that you need. In Saskatchewan, General Practitioners (GPs) can conduct mental health assessment and treatment, or they can refer you directly to a mental health professional. You can also access publicly funded mental health care by self referral through your health authority’s Mental Health and Addictions Department.
It is important that you make an informed decision about the treatment that is best for you. This treatment is intended for people experiencing mild to moderate levels of depression and anxiety. If the symptoms you are experiencing are more severe in nature or you are at risk for suicide the Online Therapy staff may recommend that you seek in person treatment. If the symptoms you are experiencing are less severe in nature, the staff may recommend self-help materials that can be accessed online.
If you would like assistance in locating in person treatment options you may contact the Online Therapy Unit Coordinator at 337-3331.
Saskatchewan Residents also have access to Mental Health Workers for advice through a 24hr telephone hotline:
